Afford IT provides pay-as-you-go IT support for businesses across Brisbane, Ipswich, Moreton Bay and Logan, with remote support for the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. No managed services contract. No monthly minimum. No unnecessary subscription. Just business IT support when you need it.

The rate is a flat $168 an hour with a one-hour minimum, and you are told before a job goes past the hour. There is no callout fee, no travel fee and no booking fee. Every technician is a tertiary-qualified employee rather than a subcontractor, so the person who answers the phone works for the same business as the person who turns up.

You engage us when something needs doing and pay for the time it takes. There is no managed services contract, no monthly fee and no minimum term. We fix the problem, install the equipment or deliver the project, and the engagement ends there.

A flat $168 per hour with a one-hour minimum, and you are told before a job goes past the hour. There is no callout, travel or booking fee. Parts and third-party software are quoted separately and never ordered without your approval, and larger projects are scoped and quoted. Payment is due on completion by electronic funds transfer or card, and business customers can ask us about account terms.

Yes, onsite across Brisbane, Ipswich, Moreton Bay and Logan. For the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast we support businesses remotely. A lot of business IT work — Microsoft 365, email, software, security settings — does not need anyone in the room, so remote often gets you a faster fix anyway.

PAYG works best for small teams who need IT help occasionally. Once you have around five or more staff, or you are calling us regularly, a managed service usually protects you better and costs less than repeated reactive bills. We will tell you when we think you have reached that point.

No. If PAYG continues to make financial and operational sense for you, stay PAYG. If we see that a managed service would genuinely be better for your business, we will say so and introduce you to Defy IT — but the choice stays yours.
