You are told before we go past the hour

This is the part that matters. If a job is going to run beyond the first hour, we stop, explain what we have found, and you decide whether we continue. You will never open an invoice and find time on it that you did not agree to.

  • Most jobs finish inside the hour. That is what we aim for, and usually what happens.
  • If it will take longer, you hear it from us first — with what we found and what we recommend.
  • You can stop at any point. You pay for the work done to that point and nothing more.
  • Parts are quoted separately and never ordered without your approval.

Why our price is lower

Not because there is less in it. Because there are fewer people taking a margin between you and the technician doing the work.

How a franchised or contractor model builds its price

  • A franchise fee and ongoing royalty, paid by the local operator and recovered from you
  • A national marketing levy built into the hourly rate
  • A subcontracted technician who is paid a percentage, so the rate has to cover two parties
  • A callout or travel fee charged before any work begins
  • A booking or service fee added at checkout

How we build ours

  • Tertiary-qualified. Every technician holds a tertiary qualification, so jobs are diagnosed correctly the first time instead of being billed twice.
  • No callout, travel or booking fee. The rate is the rate.
  • Told before the hour is up. No open-ended jobs and no invoice surprises.

No. There is no callout fee, no travel fee and no booking fee anywhere in our standard service area across Greater Brisbane. The price you are quoted is the price you pay.

We stop and tell you before we continue. You decide whether we proceed. You will never receive an invoice for time you did not agree to. Most jobs are finished within the first hour.

Because of how the business is built, rather than what is left out of it. We are not a franchise, so there is no franchise fee or royalty loaded onto your invoice. Our technicians are employees rather than subcontractors, so there is no middle layer taking a percentage. And we do not charge callout, travel or booking fees. Same qualified people, fewer hands in the transaction.

Payment is due on completion of the work. We accept electronic funds transfer and card payment. Business customers can ask us about account terms. Our full payment terms are in our Terms of Service.

No. Every service is charged at the same flat rate of $135 per hour including GST, with a minimum of one hour per job, whether the work is done onsite, in our workshop or remotely. There is no premium rate for more complicated jobs. Parts and third-party software are charged in addition to labour and are always quoted before we order them.

Yes, in writing. Our workmanship is covered for 30 days, network and email configuration work for 30 days, and virus removal against reinfection by the same threat for 14 days. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty, typically 12 months, and we manage that claim for you. There is no charge to claim and no callout fee on a warranty visit.
